Nepal suffered a humiliating defeat against PNG. Nepal lost to PNG by 86 runs in the final of the T20 series in Hong Kong.
Chasing the target of 172 runs given by PNG, Nepal was all out by scoring only 85 runs in 16.3 overs.
For Nepal, Sandeep Jora scored 17 runs while Aarif Sheikh scored 15 runs and captain Rohit Paudel scored 12 runs. Apart from this, other batsmen failed to score runs in double figures.
Kabua Morea, Chad Soper, Semo Kamea and Sese Bau took 2 wickets each for PNG.
Earlier, after losing the toss, PNG batted first and scored 171 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
For PNG, opener Tony Ura scored a top score of 61 runs, Alei Nao scored 30 runs, Hila Vare scored 18 runs, Hiri Hiri scored 15 runs, Kiplin Doriga scored 14 runs and Chad Soper scored 13 runs.
Akash Chand and Kushal Bhurtel took 3 wickets each, while Karan KC and Gulshan Jha took one wicket each.
