India defeated Nepal by 10 wickets and reached the Super Four of the Asia Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the rain-affected match on Monday night, India achieved the target of 145 runs without losing any wicket in 20.1 overs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India was given a target of 145 runs in 23 overs as per the Duckworth-Lewis rules after the rain interrupted the match. In India’s victory, captain Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 74 runs while Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 67 runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Nepal lost the toss and batted first and scored 230 runs in 48.2 overs. Aasif Sheikh scored a superb 58 runs for Nepal and he shared a brilliant partnership of 65 runs with Kushal Bhurtel for the first wicket. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed after scoring 38 runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, Sompal Kami scored 48 runs with excellent batting. Sompal Dipendra Singh Airee scored 29runs, Bhim Sarki scored 7 runs, captain Rohit Paudel scored 5 runs, Kushal Malla scored 2 runs, Gulshan Jha scored 23 runs, and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 9 runs. Similarly, Karan KC scored 2 runs while Lalit Rajbanshi was dismissed for zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, Indian bowlers Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Siraj took 3-3 and Mohammad Shami, Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandey took one wicket each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
