U-19 cricket national cricket team that is going to play ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup cricket has been bid farewell. Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) bid farewell to the Nepali cricket team in a program on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Member Secretary of National Sports Council (Rakhep) Tanklal Ghising, CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Secretary Paras Khadka and others bid farewell to the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nepal is in Group D in this World Cup to be held in South Africa from January 19 to February 11. Nepal is in Group D with Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan. Nepal’s first match is scheduled to be played on January 21 against New Zealand. Similarly, the second match will be played against Pakistan on January 24, while the third match is scheduled to be played against Afghanistan on January 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A 15-member team headed by Dev Khanal is going to South Africa to play the World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All-rounder Gulshan Jha, who is performing brilliantly in the senior team, has also been included in the Nepali team. Gulshan Jha had also played in the U-19 Asia Cup before but he could not play very well in that tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
