The Nepali women’s cricket team is going to play in the Asia Cup 2024. On Tuesday, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the upcoming Women’s Asia Cup 2024. In which Nepal is included. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Women’s Asia Cup is scheduled to be held from July 19 to July 28, 2024 in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. Eight countries will participate in this edition of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, the ACC has decided to allow UAE, Malaysia, Nepal and Thailand to play in the Asia Cup, which reached the semi-finals of the Women’s Premier Cup 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ACC has said that for inclusiveness and equality in cricket, the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 will continue the tradition of having all women referees and umpires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nepal is in Group A in the Asia Cup. Nepal is in Group A along with India, Pakistan and UAE, while Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand are in Group B. Nepal will play its first match against Pakistan on July 19 on the opening day of the Asia Cup, while the second match will be played against UAE on July 21 and the third match will be played against India on July 23, according to ACC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
