Ministers from the CPN-UML have collectively submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After an agreement was reached between the UML and Congress to form a new government, the UML ministers arrived at Baluwatar on Wednesday evening with their resignation letters. Prachanda accepted the resignations of each UML minister one by one. After accepting the resignations, Prachanda did not make many comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per Article 100 (2), the Prime Minister is required to table a motion in the House of Representatives for a vote of confidence within thirty days if the political party he represents is divided or if a coalition party withdraws its support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the UML\u2019s decision to withdraw support, Prime Minister Dahal must take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives. However, this process starts only after a formal notification of the withdrawal of support is given to Parliament. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
