{"id":15239,"date":"2025-06-09T21:13:36","date_gmt":"2025-06-09T15:28:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bagmatitimes.com\/bt\/?p=15239"},"modified":"2025-06-09T21:13:38","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T15:28:38","slug":"dengue-infection-increased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bagmatitimes.com\/bt\/dengue-infection-increased\/","title":{"rendered":"Dengue infection increased"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With the arrival of the monsoon, the cases of dengue infection have increased.\u00a0The period from June to August is considered highly risky in terms of dengue transmission.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), a total of 1,255 dengue cases have been reported from January 1 to June 8 of this year.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of today, dengue infections have been recorded in 72 districts across the country, with the highest number of cases reported in Kathmandu (132), followed by Kaski (90), Sunsari (87), Chitwan (61), Rupandehi (47), Kanchanpur (37), Dang (32), and Bhaktapur (30).&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While there is currently no way to eliminate mosquito larvae responsible for dengue and reduce infection rates to zero, efforts to contain the spread of the disease are ongoing.
