Lata&#8217;s body was laid to rest at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Sunday evening. Born on September 28, 1929 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Lata has sung over 50,000 songs in 36 different languages \u200b\u200bduring her lifetime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lata, who became world famous for her magical voice and singing, died at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 8:12 am on Sunday. He had been undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital for 29 days after contracting corona infection and pneumonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funeral was attended by thousands including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, musicians, Bollywood actors and the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indian government has declared two days of national mourning for his death.
