Autobiography of Architect Engineer Ranjan Singh Shah Released

Senior architect engineer Ranjan Singh Shah’s autobiography ‘Mero Sapna’ has been released. During a program on Saturday, former minister Dr. Bhesh Bahadur Thapa, hotelier, writer and activist of positive thinking Karna Shakya, Prof. Dr. Jivaraj Pokharel and architect Ishwarlal Joshi released the autobiographical book.

In the program, the speakers discussed about the architecture of Nepal and gave their views on how it can be known to the world. In his autobiographical book ‘My Dream’, Shah has written about how his childhood dream of becoming an architect engineer came true and how future generations can also make Nepal’s architecture known and preserved in the world.

Industrialists, leaders, engineers, doctors, former secretaries of the government of Nepal were present in the program organized by Shah Associate. Shah has spent 50 important years of his life as an architect engineer. After completing BSc in Science from Tribhuvan University in Nepal,

Shah obtained a degree in Architecture from MS University in Baroda, India, and did a Post Graduation in Architecture from the Netherlands. Shah was honored by Gorkha Dakshin Bahu 3rd by the then king Birendra Bir Bikram Shah for his excellent work in rebuilding after the fire in Singha Durbar.

He has also received honors and awards from the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, for his role in the eleventh SAARC conference. Printing 80 page autobiography ‘My Dream’ book from Sama Printers is currently distributed free of cost to willing readers. The book was co-authored by Dr. Shristi Shah.
