There is a big difference between what we do not do and what the hospital administration does not do

After the death of Adarsh’s father, director and actor Nischal Basnet wrote: “There is a big difference between what we do not do and what the hospital administration does not do. Not being able to do dialysis on time and performing procedures less than the required time is like giving up on a patient’s life. I also have a person requiring dialysis in my house. I know how difficult it is. If the administration had a strict protocol to diligently repair the broken machine on time, perhaps our health system would not have needed sympathy today that would say that not only COVID but also other diseases are affecting the patient”.

Nischal said that it is difficult to even imagine the pain of losing one’s parents and that he could feel how Adarsh was feeling. Nischal further writes, “Many such incidents are happening due to the corrupt system of our deeply responsible leadership. I am afraid that we will also one day become a victim of this broken system”.
