Actor Anmol KC has been released from custody
Actor Anmol KC has been released from custody. Spokesman and Superintendent of Police Kumodh Dhungel informed that Anmol was handed over to his uncle Ujjwal KC to appear at the time of search on Sunday evening.
According to him, actor KC is in a state of health, there is no possibility of losing evidence and there is no possibility of him running away, so the investigation officer has been released on bail as per the legal provision that he can be present when a responsible person is looking for him.
Earlier on Sunday, District Court Kathmandu had allowed actor KC to be detained for three days for investigation. Police arrested Anmol from Sanga in Bhaktapur on Friday on charges of fraud and criminal betrayal.
He was arrested after the production side of the film complained to the police after he refused to work in the film after receiving an advance of 10 lakhs to work in the film ‘Ravayan’.
