Permission to detain Rabi Lamichhane for another 10 days
The Kaski District Court has allowed Rabi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), to be detained for another 10 days.
The court has given more time to the police to investigate, counting from the 15th of Kartik. Lamichhane has been extended for the third time including Tuesday. Earlier, initially, 6 days, then 7 days were extended.
Through the District Public Prosecutor’s Office, the police extended the deadline to the Kaski District Court to investigate Rabi. Lamichhane, who was arrested from Kathmandu on Kartik 2, is being investigated by the Kaski police on charges of co-operative fraud.
