Indian Idol winner Prashant Tamang passes away
Singer and actor Prashant Tamang has passed away. Tamang, the winner of the third Indian Idol, passed away at his residence in Delhi on Sunday morning.
The 43-year-old Tamang is said to have died of a heart attack. Expressing his condolences over Tamang’s death, singer Pramod Kharel said that he had to hear the unpleasant and unexpected news, and mentioned that Prashant Tamang is no longer with us.
After winning Indian Idol, he left the Indian police service and pursued a career in singing and acting. Tamang has also acted in Nepali films such as Pardeshi and Gorkhapaltan.
