Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken oath. Modi took oath as the Prime Minister for the third time in a special program held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office and secrecy to Modi.
Modi was appointed as the Prime Minister by President Murmu on Friday. President Draupadi Murmu appointed Modi as the Prime Minister after submitting the claim to form the government from the NDA alliance.
Leaders of neighboring countries have participated in Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Bhutan Prime Minister Chiring Tobge, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravinda Jugnath and others participated in the head of government of neighboring countries.
