The presidential election in the USA today

Voting is taking place today for the election of the President of the United States.

It is expected that there will be a lot of competition in this election, in which former President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump is on one side and Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris is on the other side. Kamala Harris is also the current Vice President of the United States.

Trump has made JD Vance his vice presidential candidate. Kamala Harris has nominated Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for this position.

In most areas of the US, voting will start from around 4:45 PM (NST) on Tuesday and will continue until around 6 AM (NST) on Wednesday.

Due to the close competition, it is estimated that it will take a few days for the results of the US presidential election to be held this year to be announced.

In some presidential elections in the US, the winner is announced on the day of voting or the next morning, but this time it may have to wait because of the tough competition. In some swing states like Pennsylvania, there is a possibility of a recount if there is a slight difference in the vote count.

In terms of these elections, there is a possibility of challenging the close results legally. If it does, it may take a few days to be announced.

In 2020, voting for the presidential election in the United States was held on November 3, but Joe Biden was announced as the winner on November 7 on the American TV network.
