Covid 19 India : Covid infected people and death has dropped by less than two months
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. In the last 24 hours, 114,000 people have been found infected with Covid-19 in India.
In the midst of the second wave of Covid-19, more than four million people were found infected daily, the latest number being the lowest daily infection in the past two months. In India, a total of 28.8 million people have been infected with covid, including 27 million who have become infected.
The ministry said the second wave of Covid-19 had killed an additional 2,677 people in the last 24 hours in India.
There are still 1.478 million people actively infected in India. In the last 24 hours, the total number of active infections has decreased by 77,000. The ministry said that the number of active infections has been declining in the past few days.
India, which started vaccinating on January 16, has so far received 231 million doses.
Meanwhile, the Health Research Council of India has tested 364 million samples across the country so far.
