Train accident in Thailand, 22 dead

A major train accident has occurred in Thailand. A train traveling from the capital, Bangkok, to a northwestern Thai province has derailed after a crane fell from a construction site, killing 22 people and injuring about 30, local media reported.

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in the Sikhio district, Thailand, approximately 230 kilometers from the capital, Bangkok.

According to a local police officer, the crane was working on an under-construction high-speed rail project and fell onto the train while it was moving.
