Manang Air helicopter crashed
A helicopter of Manang Air flying from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu has crashed in Lamjuradanda.
Manang Air’s Nine N – AMV callsign helicopter that took off from Surke at 10:05 am was found in an accident at the Chandanda of Lamazura, Likhupike Rural Municipality-5, Bhakanje. According to Meena Karki Basnet, chairperson of Likhupike Rural Municipality, Chauri herdsmen found a helicopter in an accident in Chandanda.
Helicopter Captain Chet Gurung flew the helicopter. The Lukla airport office has informed that there are 5 foreigners in the helicopter besides the captain.
