Prohibition order has been extended in the Kathmandu Valley till June14
The lockdown in Kathmandu Valley has been extended for 11 days. A meeting of the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts on Wednesday decided to extend the lockdown by 11 days.
According to Kathmandu Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli, the workshop will be allowed to run till 9 am following the health standards. A restraining order has been issued in the Kathmandu Valley since April 30.
The last time the injunction was extended, it was extended till midnight on June 2 as it was about to expire on June 3 (tomorrow). Under the current lockdown, food, grocery stores, department stores and bookstores will be allowed to open till 9 am.
Infrastructure construction work will be allowed to operate in a safe manner by following the mandatory health standards. Similarly, vegetable, fruit, fish-meat, gas shops will be allowed to open in the morning. Public and private vehicles will not be allowed to run. In the case of private vehicles, the ban on transportation is still in place except for urgent work.
