Arun River blocked by landslides
The Arun river has been blocked after a landslide fell in the tunnel of the dam site of the 900 megawatt capacity Arun third hydropower project under construction in Sankhuwasabha.

Now the temporary dam of the project is filled with water. He said that only 25 percent of the water came out of the tunnel. After the closure of the tunnel, water has accumulated in the dam about 70 feet high. Even if the dam does not break immediately because it is concrete, it seems that there is a danger if the water accumulates for a long time.
