A person arrested on suspicion of involvement in Nira Pandey murder
A person has been arrested for being involved in the murder of Nira Pandey.
The police arrested Binod BK from Jhapa 9 days later on the charge of being involved in Pandey’s murder. He was arrested on Saturday. Pandey, who was running Niru Kitchen in Kapan, was murdered mysteriously on May 7.
According to police sources, Bk was arrested after reaching Jhapa, he killed Pandey in Kathmandu and fled towards Jhapa. The people protested in Kathmandu on Saturday saying that the killer of Pandey was not arrested for nine days, and the government formed a special investigation committee only on Friday. Gagan Thapa and others raised their voices in the parliament to arrest his killer.
