Lal Bahadur BK Gets Clean Chit from High Court
Lal Bahadur Bishwakarma, a daily wage worker from Tarhra in Sunsari, who was locked in jail for seven months, has got justice. Quashing the Sunsari District Court’s decision, the Biratnagar High Court cleared Bishwakarma of all charss.
He was a victim of a gold shop owner’s fraud. Biratnagar High Court has acquitted Bk, who was jailed on charges of unlicensed bank and financial transactions and fraud. He has been cleared of all charges and given clean chit.
BK went to the high court saying that he was innocent against the decision made by the district. Although the case has been brought up in the High Court many times, it has not been heard and has been adjourned. Various organizations also held demonstrations demanding justice for BK.
