Government declares public holiday on 23 April, Tuesday

The government has declared a public holiday on April 23, Tuesday. According to the secretariat of the  Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma, a meeting of the council of ministers has made a decision to declare a public holiday on Tuesday on the occasion of the arrival of Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

According to Narendra KC of the secretariat of Minister Sharma, a public holiday is given as the Emir of State of Qatar is visiting Nepal on Tuesday for a two-day visit.

The government has been giving public holidays on the visitation of the head of the nation.
