The Prime Minister did not get a vote of confidence, Oli automatically resigned

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has lost the confidence of parliament. Prime Minister Oli’s motion of no-confidence in the government was tabled in the House of Representatives with 93 votes in favor and 124 against.

There were 232 MPs in today’s poll. Speaker Agni Sapkota made the announcement. Corona-infected lawmakers were allowed to vote at a different location.

A total of 275 MPs were present among which, 232 in favor, 93 in opposition, and 124 neutral MPs.

Along with this, Prime Minister Oli has automatically resigned from his post after a no-confidence motion was rejected by a majority in parliament.
