Shambhu Thapa’s funeral today
Shambhu Thapa, the driver of Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Ravi Lamichhane, is being laid to rest today.
According to Deepak Bohra, a prominent supporter of Lamichhane, Thapa’s funeral is going to be done at Pashupati Aryaghat at 10 am. Thapa, the driver, died at Medicity Hospital on Tuesday.
Thapa, who was in Chitwan during the election campaign of President Lamichhane, fell from the roof on 4th Baisakh and was brought to Kathmandu by helicopter for treatment at Medicity. Driver Thapa was treated by keeping him on ventilator for about one and a half months.
