‘SEE’ examination starts from today
The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) is starting from today. This year’s SEE exam, which will be conducted from 15th to 27th of Chaitra, will be conducted from 8 am to 11 am.
According to the board, the human resources including the head of the center who will be involved in the examination have been oriented to conduct the SEE in an orderly, dignified, fair, fearless and peaceful environment.
According to the board, 250,772 female students, 253,627 male students and 15 other students from 10,806 schools, including 5,444,414 students are participating in the examination. Out of total examinees, 15,749 examinees from 506 schools are on the technical side, the board has informed. Similarly, 15 examinees from sexual and gender minority communities are participating in the examination.
Similarly, 2064 examination centers have been determined for the examination, the least of which is one center each in Manang, Mustang and the most 127 examination centers have been determined in Kathmandu.
Exam controller Paudel said that 23 people from Japan will participate in this year’s SEE exam. According to him, 23 students including 15 female students and eight male students are going to take the exam at Everest School in Japan.
