Nepal should be made a ‘hub’ of higher education : Prime Minister Prachanda
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that Nepal should be made a “hub” of higher education. He said this while addressing the ninth assembly of Karnali Institute of Health Sciences
Prime Minister Prachanda said, “It is my clear belief that Nepal should be made a hub of higher education. This is not only our aspiration, but also an area of significant potential.” He said that he felt happy to know that students from abroad have started coming to study at Karnali Institute of Health Sciences.
Expressing his belief that the institution will make more progress in the future, Prime Minister Prachanda said that apart from providing direct services to the people of Karnali Province and the most backward areas of Far West Province, skilled manpower is also being produced from the institution. He said, “The institution is not only providing services to the poor, it is also producing skilled and hardworking health workers.”
Mentioning that the hospital plays a significant role in giving service when the country and people are at difficult times, PM said, “Either it is during the COVID-19 pandemic, or at times of the destructive earthquake, this academy has done important work in full responsibility in line with pre-preparedness, needed alertness, rescue and treatment.”
