The ban on the operation of vehicles in the Kathmandu Valley after 8 pm has been lifted. In the restraining order issued from July 11 to August 20, it was mentioned that the district administration office of the Kathmandu Valley should reach the destination by 8 pm except for emergency services, means of transportation and other vehicles entering the valley.
This provision has been removed in the injunction from August 24 to August 30. Lalitpur Assistant Chief District Officer Lalit Bahadur Basnet said that this provision has been removed in the restraining order from August 26 to August 31. The administration’s order was criticized for not controlling the Corona epidemic due to the strict operation of vehicles only at night.
