Nominations registration today for the by-elections
Candidancy Nominations are being registered today (Monday) for the by-election of members of the House of Representatives.
The Election Commission has decided to hold by-elections in Chitwan No. 2, Tanahun-1 and Bara-2 on the 12th of Baisakh. Rabi Lamichhane, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, was relieved of his post with the decision of the Supreme Court in the citizenship case, and by-elections are being held in Chitwan-2.
Elections are about to be held in Tanahun-2 after Ramchandra Paudel was appointed as the President.
After the appointment of Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav as the Vice President, elections are going to be held on Bara-2 on Baisakh 12.
