Royal Sports Park Blue won the King’s T-10 Indoor Tournament Season 2
Royal Sports Park Blue has won the title of the Kings T-10 Indoor Tournament Season 2. They became champions by defeating Backyard B by 76 runs in the final.
Batting first after winning the toss in the final, Royal Sports Park Blue posted a strong total of 98 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted overs. Narendra was the team’s top scorer with 37 runs, while Aashraya contributed 20 runs. Among the Backyard B bowlers, Krish took 1 wicket for 19 runs, whereas Srijal conceded 9 runs without taking a wicket.
Chasing a target of 99 runs, Backyard B was bowled out for just 22 runs, losing 7 wickets in the process. For Backyard B, Srijal scored 8 runs, and Krish scored 3 runs. With this, Royal Sports Park Blue secured a commanding 76-run victory in the final, clinching the title of the Kings T-10 Indoor Tournament Season 2.
A special tribute ceremony was held in memory of the late Nirmal Purja (Nimsdai) before the final match began. Players from the finalist teams—Royal Sports Park Blue and Backyard B—along with the organizing committee and all those present, observed a two-minute silence to pay their respects.
The event was also attended by the chief guest, Mitharam Adhikari, Mayor of Budhanilkantha Municipality. He stated that such competitions play a significant role in uniting the youth through sports and guiding them in a positive direction. The presence of the competition’s brand ambassador, Rajina Bishta, added a special touch to the event.
The organizers stated that by bringing on board Bishta—who has established a distinct identity in the Nepali sports sector—they aimed to inspire young athletes.
Harshal Bhandari, who delivered outstanding performances throughout the competition in the individual category, was named the Best Bowler with a total of 7 wickets.
Amit Shrestha secured the title of Best Batsman by scoring a total of 106 runs. Laxman Devkota (Nimsbhai), who displayed an impressive performance, was declared the Player of the Tournament with a total of 17 wickets.
