PM CUP : Madhesh Province stunned APF
Madhesh Province defeated APF by 5 wickets in the ongoing Prime Minister’s Cup match held at TU ground on Thursday.
Chasing the target of 247 runs given by APF, Madhesh Province achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 48 overs
In the victory of Madhesh Province, Rupesh Singh scored 72 runs while Pawan Saraf scored 64 runs and Niraj Yadav scored 52 runs.
Earlier, APF, who batted first, scored 246 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs. Aasif Sekh scored 59 runs and captain Rohit Paudel scored 58 runs for APF. Amar Singh Rautela scored 49 runs. Madhesh bowlers Rupesh Singh and Pradeep Paswan took 3 wickets each.
This is Madhesh’s second win in the fourth game in the ongoing PM Cup. APF suffered their first defeat in their third game.
