Sandeep Lamichhane’s team, Bridge-11, has won the title of The Bridge Decade Cup 2025. In the second friendly cricket match held at the Devizes Cricket Club ground in Wilshere, Bridge-11 defeated Devizes Cricket Club by 127 runs to win the title.

For Bridge XI, who lost the toss and batted first in London, Manny Gurung scored a half-century of 51 runs off 26 balls. Similarly, Diwas Giri scored 62 runs off 37 balls, and captain Sandeep Lamichhane scored 54 runs off 24 balls. On the bowling front, Devizes’ George Dunford, Cameron Lee, and Al Gove took 2 wickets each.

For Devizes Cricket Club, who were chasing a target of 307 runs set by Bridge XI, Thomas Andrew played a century of 101 runs off 71 balls. Similarly, Luke Hamblin contributed 10 runs off 39 balls.

On the bowling front, Sandeep Lamichhane took 1 wicket, Moses took 2 wickets, and Amit, Bikash, and Mark Burton took 1 wicket each.

At the cup and trophy distribution ceremony after the game, Bhuwan Giri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bridge International Consultancy, expressed satisfaction at being able to hold the sports competition as a social responsibility during his 10-year journey.
