ICC cricket world cup 2023 begins from today
Cricket World Cup 2023, the biggest tournament of world cricket, is starting from today at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India. This is the 13th edition of the tournament which started in 1975 from England.
The tournament in which a total of 10 teams will participate, including the host country India, will run until November 19. This tournament, which is going to be played on the basis of round robin rules for the first time in the history of World Cup cricket, will last for about 45 days in different 10 big cities of India.
In which there will be a total of 48 matches including semi-finals and finals. The most successful team of this tournament, which is held every 4/4 years, is Australia, which has won the title of the World Cup 5 times.
While West Indies and India have won the title 2/2 times, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England have won the title 1/1 time.
