EPL: Chelsea defeated West Ham United by 5-1
Despite trailing by one goal early on, Chelsea came back to claim a comprehensive victory. West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta gave the visitors the lead in the sixth minute, but Joao Pedro equalised for Chelsea in the 15th minute.
Chelsea took a 3-1 lead in the first half after Pedro Neto scored in the 23rd minute and Enzo Fernandez scored in the 34th minute.
Chelsea added two more goals in the second half. Moises Sciesedo scored in the 54th minute and Trevoh Chabaloh in the 58th minute.
Chelsea, who drew with Crystal Palace in their first match, have secured their first win of the new season.
