PM CUP : NPC Wins PM Cup title beating TAC

Nepal Police Club has won the title of Prime Minister’s Cup National Men’s Cricket Tournament. In the final match held on Saturday, Police Club won the title by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club by 6 wickets.

Chasing the target of 182 runs given by Tribhuvan Army Club, Police Club achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 37.5 overs.

Shankar Rana scored an unbeaten 62 runs while Arjun Saud scored 36 runs, Amit Shrestha scored 28 runs and Aarif Sekh scored 27 unbeaten runs in the victory of Police.

Earlier, the Army, who batted first, scored 181 runs in 49.5 overs. For Army, Bibek Yadav scored 63 runs while Sompal Kami scored 39 runs, Imran Sheikh scored 28 runs and Kushal Malla scored 17 runs.

Lalit Rajbanshi and Dipendra Singh Airee took 3 wickets each, while Sagar Dhakal, Karan KC and Kushal Bhurtel took one wicket each.
