Malaysia Defeats Nepal By 5 Wickets in First T20I
The Nepali women’s cricket team, which is currently on Malaysia tour for the five-match T20 international series, has been defeated in the first match by 5 wickets.

Nepal women’s team which is playing international cricket after almost a year, lost the toss and batted first at the UKM-USD ground in Bangai. But after the excellent bowling by the home team, Malaysia, Nepal could not stay at the crease even for the entire over and was bowled out for 50 runs after playing 16.5 overs.
Misun Khadka, who made her debut for Nepal in this match, scored 13 runs while wicketkeeper Jyoti Pandey added 11 runs.

Similarly, young player Kritika Marasini also made her debut in Nepal’s senior team in this match. Samjhana and Kritika have been included in the senior team for the first time. Kritika remained not out for zero runs.
Nik Nur Atiella took the most 3 wickets and Ainna Hamiz Hashim, Aisya Elisa, and Mahira Izzati Ismail took 2 wickets each for Malaysia to all out Nepal. A player from Nepal was run out.
Coming to chase the tiny target of 50 runs, Malaysia achieved it in just 13.2 overs. In a notable performance, Sita Rana Magar and Rubina Chhetri took two wickets each. Malaysia won the match comfortably by 5 wickets.
