Nepal ‘A’ seals victory against Canada XI
Nepal A defeated Canada-11. In the second match of the series held at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Nepal A defeated Canada-11 by 2 wickets.
Chasing the target of 241 runs given by Canada-11, Nepal A achieved the target by losing 8 wickets in 49.1 overs.
Bashir Ahmed and captain Sandeep Jora scored half-centuries for Nepal. Bashir played an important role in the victory of Nepal A by scoring 51 runs while remaining unbeaten.
Similarly, Sandeep Jora scored 66 runs, Rashid Khan scored 47 runs and Arjun Kumal scored 40 runs.
Canada-11, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 240 runs in 49.5 overs. Shreyas Movva scored 68 runs for Canada. Similarly, Navneet Dhaliwal scored 46 runs, Srimantha Wijayratne scored 41 runs and Aaron Johnson scored 36 runs.
