Nepal ‘A’ lost against Ireland Wolves by 21 runs
Ireland Wolves have made a winning start in the OD series against Nepal A. In the first match of the three-match series, Ireland Wolves won by 21 runs.
Chasing the target of 158 runs given by Ireland Wolves, Nepal scored 136 runs in 25.3 overs.
For Nepal, Shahab Alam scored 37 runs while Basir Ahmed scored 20 runs, Dev Khanal scored 26 runs and Rijan Dhakal scored 12 runs. Similarly, Ireland Wolves bowler Matthews Humphreys took 5 wickets and Liam McCarthy took 4 wickets.
Before this, Ireland Wolves won the toss and scored only 157 runs while batting first. Ireland Wolves scored 157 runs in 38.3 overs.
Cade Carmichael scored 51 runs for Ireland Wolves, while captain Neil Rock scored 39 runs and Peter Moore scored 21 runs.
