I’m impressed with the current state of Nepali Cricket : ICC President Greg Barclay

International Cricket Council (ICC) President Greg Barclay has said that he is very impressed with the current state of Nepali cricket.

President Barclay, who has been visiting Nepal since last Monday, has expressed confidence in the press conference that Nepali cricket is currently progressing and will continue in the coming days.

He said – I met the member secretary of the National Sports Council, the Sports Minister and the Prime Minister. The future of Nepali cricket has been positively affected. The Prime Minister has said that the government will focus on cricket.

He said that the government will focus on cricket not only for the national team and the youth as a whole.

He also said that during his meeting with the Sports Minister and the Prime Minister, infrastructure is needed to organize the ICC tournament.

He said that he is happy with the grounds of Nepal, but there is still work to be done on the infrastructure to organize big teams and competitions. President Barclay said that he was happy with the information provided by the Nepal Cricket Association about the work it is doing and the work it will do in the coming days.
