Shameful defeat for Nepal against Canada
Nepal suffered a shameful defeat against Canada under the ICC World Cup League-2 series.
In last night’s match, Nepal lost by 103 runs against Canada. Chasing the target of 254 runs given by Canada, Nepal was all out after scoring 150 runs in 40.1 overs
For Nepal, Karan KC scored 27 runs while Sandeep Lamichhane scored 22, Aasif Sheikh 20, Bhim Sarki 18, Gulshan Jha 15, Kushal Malla scored 12. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel scored 1, captain Rohit Paudel scored 5, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 8, Sompal Kami scored 6.
Dillon Heyliger took the most 5 wickets while Akhil Kumar and Ansh Patel took 2 wickets each and Saad bin Zafar took one wicket each for Canada
Earlier, Canada, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 253 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Captain Nicholas Kirton scored 73 runs for Canada while Navneet Dhaliwal scored 48 runs.

After this victory, Canada has gained 10 points in 9 games and climbed to second place in League-2. This is Nepal’s fourth defeat in League-2. Nepal, which has won only one game in 5 matches, has 2 points and is in seventh place in the points table. Now Nepal is scheduled to play another match against Oman on Wednesday.
