Sandeep Lamichhane to Join National Team in South Africa
Star cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to be a part of squad in South Africa and the World Cup qualifier in Zimbabwe.
Sandeep’s legal professionals have prepared to send Sandeep to play by postponing the hearing in the court for the duration of the international game.
Saroj Krishna Ghimire, Sandeep’s legal advision, said that due to the delay in the hearing process of the ongoing case, Sandeep will be missing from the national team and the entire nation’s dream of playing in the World Cup may be affected. To avoid this forseeable future, the team has decided to send Lamichhane to join the camp.
Ghimire said, “We have prepared to file a petition requesting the honorable court to arrange a date for the hearing after Sandeep’s return.” He also expressed his belief that until then, the court will decide on compensation from the victims’ relief fund as per the demands of the victims.
