Canada XI wins the series against Nepal A

Canada-11 has won the series against Nepal A. Canada XI won the series 2-1 after defeating Nepal by 4 wickets in the third and last match.

Chasing the target of 182 runs given by Nepal, Canada XI achieved the target by losing 6 wickets in 38.5 overs.

Earlier, Nepal A, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 181 runs in 47 overs.

Asutosh Ghiraiya scored the highest 28 runs for Pal A, while Arjun Kumal scored 27, Bashir Ahmed scored 25, captain Sandeep Zora scored 24, Sujan Thapaliya scored 20, Rashid Khan and Pratish GC scored 19 each.

Canada-11 bowlers Nicholas Kirton, Dillon Heyliger and Harsh Thakker took 2 wickets each.

For the first time in its cricket history, Nepal made an A team and played the series.
