India has achieved a thrilling victory over its arch rival Pakistan in the ICC T-20 World Cup. India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs in last night’s match which was limited to 119 runs only.
Chasing the target of 120 runs given by India, Pakistan lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and scored only 113 runs, after which India won the match by 6 runs.
Player of the match Jasprit Bumrah became the hero of India’s win with three wickets for just 14 runs in four overs. At one point, Pakistan needed 37 runs from 30 balls and 6 wickets were left, but the Indian bowler gave 30 runs and restricted Pakistan to a total of 113 runs for 7 wickets.
This is India’s seventh win over Pakistan in eight T20 World Cup matches and India’s 15th win over Pakistan in 16 matches including ODI T20 World Cup.
After this win, India, who are in Group A, have won their second consecutive win. India has secured 4 points from 2 matches and is on the top position in Group A. Similarly, Pakistan has suffered its second defeat in a row. Pakistan lost the first match against America.
