PM CUP : Humiliating defeat for Koshi Province
Koshi Province has been bowled out for just 25 runs against Gandaki Province. Its the most humiliating defeat for Koshi Province.
Chasing the target of 168 runs given by Gandaki Province, Koshi Province scored 25 runs after playing only 15.2 overs in the match held at Mulpani Cricket Ground on Sunday.
No player from Koshi region could score runs in double figures. Captain Ankit Subedi scored a maximum of 8 runs for Koshi while four players were dismissed for zero.
Gandaki captain Bipin Khatri took 6 wickets to destroy Koshi’s batting line. Similarly, Sandeep Parajuli took 3 wickets and Ankit Neupane took one wicket.
Earlier, Gandaki Pradesh, who batted first, scored 167 runs in 48.2 overs. Similarly, Avyash Timishina, a bowler from Koshi region, took 6 wickets.
This is the first victory of Gandaki province. Gandaki has scored 2 points in 4 matches with one win. Koshi Province suffered its sixth defeat in a row.
