Five Players Selected from ‘Dream to Play’ for Biratnagar Kings’ Camp
Nepal Premier League (NPL) franchise team Biratnagar Kings has selected five young cricketers from the “Dream to Play” U-23 T20 cricket tournament for the team’s preparatory camp.
The selected players are Amar Yadav, Dhawan Sahani, Ayush Neupane, Kabiraj Khatri, and Nepal U-16 cricketer Suyog Bhattarai.
They will take part in Biratnagar Kings’ preparatory camp starting on September 29 at the Purvanchal Cricket Academy in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
During the camp, all five players will have the opportunity to train alongside the regular squad of Biratnagar Kings. The coaching staff will closely assess their performance, ability, discipline, and potential throughout the training and practice sessions.
One of these five players will be picked as Biratnagar Kings’ “Iconic Player.”
Biratnagar Kings stated that the “Dream to Play” initiative aims to identify talented grassroots cricketers across Koshi Province and provide them with a platform for professional cricket. The franchise added that transitioning from “Dream to Play” into the Kings’ training camp represents a significant opportunity for young talent.
