Lucknow Super Giants defeated Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In last night’s match, Lucknow defeated Punjab Kings by 21 runs.
Chasing the target of 200 runs given by Lucknow, Punjab Kings scored 178 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
For Punjab, captain Shikhar Dhawan scored 70 runs while Jonny Bairstraw scored 42 runs, Liam Livingstone scored 28 runs and Prabhasimran Singh scored 19 runs.
Lucknow bowler Mayank Yadav took 3 wickets and Moshin Khan 2 wickets. Lucknow, who won the toss and batted first, scored 199 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
For Lucknow Quinton de Kock scored 54 runs, Krunal Pandya scored 43 runs and Nicholas Pooran scored 42 runs. Punjab bowler Sam Curran took 3 wickets, Arshdeep Singh 2 wickets and Kagiso Rabada and Rahul Chahar took one wicket each.
With this win, Lucknow got their first win in the second match this season, while Punjab suffered their second loss in the third match.’
