APF won PM Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament
APF Club has won the title of the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament. APF defeated Province 1 by 7 wickets to win the title.
APF had won easily before 34 balls. Chasing a modest target of 67 for victory, APF scored 68 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 14 overs.
Batter Jyoti Pandey, scored 36 runs off 39 balls with 6 sixes. Similarly, Mamata Chaudhary remained unbeaten on 19 off 23 balls with 2 fours. Province 1 captain Rubina Chhetri took 3 wickets alone. Rubina, who bowled 4 overs, had scored 10 runs with 1 maiden.
Rubina Chhetri top-scored for Province 1 with 34 runs off 46 balls with three boundaries. Similarly, Apsari Begum contributed 11 runs in 34 balls with one four.
Other players failed to score double digits. Sita Rana Magar took the most 3 wickets for APF. Rekha Rawal took 2 wickets and Karuna Bhandari took 1 wicket
