Chasing the target of 107 runs given by Canada, Pakistan achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 17.3 overs. Mohammad Rizwan scored an unbeaten 53 runs for Pakistan while captain Babar Azam scored 33 runs.
Before this, Canada, who batted first, scored 106 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
This is Pakistan’s first win in the third match under Group A. Likewise, Canada suffered its second defeat in its third match.
In this group, India and America have won 2-2 matches and got 4-4 points and are in first and second place.
Now Pakistan is scheduled to play against Ireland on June 16 and Canada will play against India on June 15.
