Copa America : Argentina beats Peru
Argentina has won the third consecutive Copa America. In the final match of the group stage on Sunday, Argentina defeated Peru by 2-0 to win the tournament for the third time in a row.
Lautaro Martinez scored both goals in Argentina’s victory. He scored in the 47th and 86th minutes of the game. He has scored a total of four goals in this cup.
After this victory, Argentina reached the quarter-finals by gaining 9 points in 3 games in Group A.
Similarly, Canada has reached the quarterfinals from Group A. In the last match of the group stage, Canada played a goalless draw with Chile and reached the quarter-finals after finishing second in the group.
With this, both Chile and Peru have been eliminated from Group A.
