ACC Premier Cup final between Nepal and UAE postponed

The ACC Premier Cup final between Nepal and UAE today has been postponed till tomorrow. The remaining matches have been postponeddue to continuous rain at the TU Cricket Ground.

After losing the toss and batting first, UAE scored 106 runs losing 9 wickets in 27.3 overs before the game was stopped. Now that the game has started on Tuesday, the game will continue from here. UAE batsmen Asif Khan scored 46 runs , Zahoor Khan went for duck , Ayan Khan scored 5 runs, Basil Hamid 10, Rohan Mustafa 2, Ramiz Shahzad 1, Aryan Lakra 13, Vritya Arvind 8 and captain Mohammad Wasim scored 11 runs.

Nepalese bowlers bowled brilliantly. Lalit Rajbanshi has taken 3 wickets for Nepal. The game was stopped after he took two consecutive wickets and he is now on a hat-trick.

Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets each while Sompal Kami and Gulshan Jhale took one wicket each. A one-day reserve day was kept for the final match. If the match does not take place tomorrow, Nepal will be selected for the Asia Cup because they are ahead in the ODI rankings. In the ODI rankings, Nepal is at 14th place and UAE at 19th place.
