Nepal U-19 beats Namibia U-19 in warm up match
Nepal national U-19 team, which is in South Africa to play the ICC U-19 World Cup, defeated Namibia by 6 runs in an unofficial warm-up match.
In this match, which was played 30-30 overs due to rain, Namibia chased down the target of 142 runs given by Nepal and scored 135 runs in 29.5 overs.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 141 runs losing 9 wickets in 30 overs.
Before this, Nepal played a warm-up match against Scotland. In that match, Nepal won by 135 runs.
Nepal is scheduled to play official warm-up matches against Scotland on Saturday and West Indies on Tuesday.Nepal is in Group D in this World Cup starting from January 19. This group includes Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Zealand along with Nepal. Nepal will play their first match in the World Cup against New Zealand on January 21. Similarly, they will play against Pakistan on January 24 and Afghanistan on January 26.
